What is SNOCKS basic underwear for women made of?

For our basic women's underwear, we mainly use soft organic* cotton. Because SNOCKS basics shouldn't just look good, they should also feel pleasant on your skin.
We use our certified organic* cotton for

• briefs for women
• thongs with lace
• panties & hipsters
• Brazilian briefs
• soft bras without underwire

For our thongs and hipster panties, you can choose between the version made of organic* cotton, organic* cotton with lace or made entirely of lace. Our Brazilian briefs come in the classic version, but also with an elastic waistband or with lace.
For our lace thong and our lace hipsters, we use 88% polyamide and 12% elastane.
Thanks to this material mix, the lace feels pleasantly soft on your skin and doesn't rub uncomfortably.
Since our sports bra needs to handle a bit more, we use a mix of 79% recycled polyester and 21% elastane here. That way it absorbs your sweat well, dries quickly and hugs your body comfortably with every movement. *organic: from organic farming, without chemical-synthetic pesticides and fertilizers

What do I need to keep in mind when washing my basic underwear?

Do you probably wash your underwear hot? Unfortunately, that's a mistake a lot of people make. Because what very few people know is that underwear gets perfectly clean at temperatures of 40 degrees max. If it's very dirty, you can soak your favourite pieces before washing or use a hygiene rinse.
What you should definitely ban from your laundry room are fabric softener and bleach. Ideally, your underwear should never see the inside of a tumble dryer. And if you also separate and sort your underwear by colour before washing, you'll enjoy its colour, fit and quality for a long time.
